The owner of trendy Miami eatery 8 oz. Burger Bar was arrested over the weekend, accused of murdering his unborn child.

Joshua Woodward, 37, was arrested in Los Angeles on Sunday after his 13-week-old baby was miscarried, according to the LAPD.

Woodward was being held on $2 million bail as of yesterday.

Woodward may have placed an unspecified powder on his pregnant girlfriend's vaginal area, according to a report in the L.A. Times.

Police have not identified the girlfriend.

Woodward is co-owner of Miami restaurants 8 Oz. Burger Bar and Table 8, though he's perhaps more well known for his L.A. eateries and his celebrity connections. He opened Rokbar in L.A. with drummer Tommy Lee and DJ Paul Oakenfold, as well as L Scorpion with actress Kristen Bell and director Robert Rodriguez.
