Ninth Divorce Lawyer Quits D-Wade's Wife

"Irreconcilable differences?" Guess "um, my client just sued Gabrielle Union for having a boyfriend" wasn't on the list of options.

Dwyane Wade is (hopefully) on the verge of signing a six-year max contract with the Heat, so you'd think Chicago lawyers would be lining up with dollar signs in their eyes to rep his estranged wife Siohvaughn in the couple's divorce and custody dispute.

An emergency request to quit yesterday fron her exasperated 9th attorney indicates it might not be worth the trouble.

Marsha Fisher filed court documents obtained by TMZ citing "irreconcilable differences" just weeks after Siohvaughn Wade was arrested for failing to show up twice for court appointments.

At the time, even Fisher was unable to reach Mrs. Wade to find out why she wasn't in court, and gamely attempted to blame herself for the mix-up. The judge, Marya Nega, wasn't having it -- and noted that Mrs. Wade's "pattern of behavior" was increasingly petulant as court proceedings didn't go her way.

Previous counsel Dorene Marcus, Burton Hochberg, Michael Berger, David Stein, John Rokacz, Rosaire Nottage, Andrew Leinoff, and Michael Bruck would probably agree -- all but one of them quit Mrs. Wade as well.

Since Siohvaughn initiated the split from her high school sweetheart in January 2009, there've been allegations of adultery, abandonment, wacky religious practices, and charges that Wade had infected his wife with a sexually transmitted disease.

She demanded the names of all his sexual partners become public; he filed a libel suit. She then retracted her claims and retreated to Chicago.

The most astonishing salvo was fired several weeks ago, however, when Siohvaughn Wade sued her husband's girlfriend, well-known actress Gabrielle Union, for emotional distress. The $50,000 suit alleges that the "Bad Boys II" star "kissed" and "hugged" Wade in front of his children, inflicting such emotional distress that the older boy's hair is falling out in clumps.

There's no word on the condition of Fisher's scalp, but here's guessing she might was to add Rogaine to any post-traumatic stress therapies.
