William Gorzynski wanted to be a culinary chef and would often prepare meals for his little brother after school.

But the 15-year-old allegedly used a kitchen knife for a heinous purpose when he stabbed his younger brother in the chest, killing him in their Coral Springs home.

Now Gorzynski faces murder charges and was ordered held in Broward's juvenile detention center on Tuesday for the next 21 days while prosecutors and police try to figure out what caused a one brother to kill the other.

"This is a tragic, horrible case," said Glenn Roderman, the boy's attorney. "This case has touched me more than any other case I have ever handled. They have a very beautiful and wonderful family...They can't even believed it happened."

Police are saying the two teenagers got into a fight Monday afternoon that resulted in one stabbing the other. The younger brother, who was stabbed in the chest, died after being airlifted to the hospital. He was 14.

It's still unclear what prompted the stabbing at the teens' Coral Springs home.

The disturbing news continues a deadly trend of violence among young teens, which was highlighted two weeks ago by the senseless burning of Michael Brewer. Brewer was attacked by five other teens, all under the age of 15.

But this crime may be even more perplexing because the two kids involved are brothers. The two boys were alone at home at the time of the incident.

"He's an angel," Roderman told the judge. "He cooks. He cleans. He helps out. He's just a good boy."
