Authorities are hoping someone recognizes the voice of a suspected killer when they hear it.

Miami-native Paul Michael Merhige has been on the run for nearly a month since allegedly killing his twin sisters and tow other relatives on Thanksgiving, but efforts to find the mentally unstable man have turned up empty.

Now investigators are turning back the clock and using Merhige's high school football recruiting tape as a tool to possibly catch the dangerous suspect.

In the video, a thin teen-aged Merhige expresses his desire to get a college scholarship to play football. He was a placekicker at Gulliver Prep.

Merhige, now 35, looks nothing like he did then, but what's important to authorities is his voice. They think he still sounds very much the same as he did when he was a teenager.

Along with the new video, authorities have turned to the America's Most Wanted television show to try and get the word out on the fugitive. John Walsh and his crew taped on Miami Beach earlier this week near where some of Merhige's family still live.

Merhige allegedly used an assortment of guns to shoot up one of his family member's Jupiter home. He reportedly took out $12,000 in cash just before the shooting and purchased several guns from a Broward gun shop.

The reward for information leading to Merhige's arrest has escalated to $100,000. If you have any information on Merhige, call the number is (561) 746-6201.
