No good deed goes unpunished, especially with the Miami Police Department.

Actor and R&B heart throb Tyrese Gibson has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident on public or private property with injury after a car crash that left a vehicle overturned on Biscayne Boulevard earlier this month.

No one was hurt in the accident, but TMZ.com is reporting Miami police cited Tyrese and the woman he hit, Sheena McCleary, because of a tweet Tyrese posted about taking the woman to a spa afterward. The felony charge could land Tyrese in prison for a year.

Police claim Tyrese left the scene, but paparazzi pictures clearly show Tyrese talking with policemen near his smashed up Dodge Charger. His attorneys entered a plea of not guilty in court Thursday.

On Jan. 4, Tyrese drove his Charger into McCleary's SUV with such force it turned over on its side. The mother of five walked away from the crash, but Tyrese was so broken up about the accident, he took the woman to get a massage and some other body work at a local spa - his treat.

"Mother of five left without 1 scratch and we ended up hangin at the spa for a massage," Tyrese posted on his Twitter account.

Here's another case of be careful what you tweet.
