What's Tweef? Mo Williams Starts Twitter Beef With D-Wade

Mo Williams has taken his beef with D-Wade to Twitter

When Dwyane Wade decided to take up for his new teammate, LeBron James, he had to know there would be repercussions.

Meet Mo William's Twitter account.

It appears LeBron's former running mate took exception to Wade's comments about the King quitting in the playoffs last year.

On Thursday, Wade said it wasn't James' fault Cleveland got demolished by the Boston Celtics. His former teammates should carry part of the blame.

"LeBron’s teammates didn’t help him out that game and it made the way he played even worse. But he’s not a quitter. He didn’t quit," Flash said.

It didn't take long for those words to reach Williams, who, like most of Ohio, has been waiting to start a Twitter beef with someone on the Heat since "The Decision." (By the way, a Twitter beef is called a "tweef")

"Come on d wade, watch your mouth. I read your article," Williams typed.

This is the second tweef involving a Miami Heat player this week and probably won't be the last before the season starts. Orlando's Dwight Howard took a jab at LeBron in a Twitter video post.

Eventually, Chris Bosh will be assaulted via Twit pic by Amar'e Stoudemire or Carlos Boozer. Haterade must be having a discount sale.

Williams could just be following the company line drawn by Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, or he could be tossing gasoline-drenched branches on a fire that will explode when the Heat and Cleveland meet next season.

Cleveland has already lost its brightest star and Zydrunas Ilgauskas to South Beach, so someone had to take a stand, we guess.

We've been searching for D-Wade's tweet response but he's probably too busy partying at Zo's Summer Groove to notice Williams' angry tears and bruised ego.

Perhaps Mo should take his own advice. Wouldn't want to end up on a poster next season.
