You know what they say: boys will be boys, until a pregnant school administrator is pushed to the ground, and then they're a-holes.

A fight on the basketball courts Miami Palmetto Senior High Thursday became dangerous for Assistant Principal Jennifer Ledesma when, according to the police report, a student named Jerald Brown ignored her commands and those of school security guards to stop. In the process of charging classmate Tramichael Lenard, Brown bumped into Ledesma and knocked her to the ground.

Ledesma is seven months pregnant.

Fears for the baby's safety can apparently be quelled; the police report notes a bruised hip as Ledesma's only injury. But the child probably won't be named "Jerald" or "Jeraldine" or "Tramichaela": Brown is charged with battery on a pregnant female and disruption of a school activity.
