    Miami-Dade Police were responding to reports of a dispute when a man took out a knife, officials said. Shots were fired and the man was pronounced dead, according to police.

    Miami-Dade Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that left one man dead.

    Officers were dispatched to 16140 Southwest 197th Avenue at about 9 p.m. Saturday following reports of a dispute, according to a Miami-Dade Police news release.

    The man, who was unidentified, was pronounced dead on the scene, the release said. The officer who fired the shots has also been unidentified.
