1 Killed, 2 Injured in Deadly Confrontation in Miami Gardens

At least 1 person killed, two others stabbed during argument

One man was killed and two others were hospitalized following a deadly confrontation in Miami Gardens Monday morning.

The incident happened in the 15600 block of Northwest 29th Avenue when at the three men got into an argument inside a vehicle just before 5:30 a.m., Miami Gardens Police said.

James Nelson, 28, was shot and killed at the scene. Lindsay Graves, 25, has been charged with murder and aggravated battery, police said.

Graves received minor injuries and was treated and released from Jackson North Medical facility.

One of the stabbing victims was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition. Police later said he was in stable condition. His identity is unknown.

No other information was immediately known and the incident is still being investigated.
