1 Killed in Neighbor Dispute in NW Miami-Dade: Police

A dispute between neighbors ended with one shooting and killing the other, Miami-Dade Police confirm.

A call came in to police around 2:30 a.m. as a neighbor dispute. According to police, the neighbors became involved in some sort of altercation when one pulled out a gun and shot the other.

The shooter is in custody.

Police blocked off the area of Northwest 47th Street and 21st Avenue Thursday morning as they responded to the scene.

Neighbors told NBC 6 that the area had been blocked off for several hours, and that they could see the body lying in the street.

No further information was immediately available. An investigation is ongoing.
