1 Suspect Arrested in Orlando Nightclub Shooting

Police say they've made an arrest in the shooting at an Orlando nightclub last weekend that left two people dead and another 10 injured.

Orlando police detectives said Friday that 23-year-old Jose Brull-Lopez was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with evidence. Court records show he has entered a not guilty plea.

The shooting took place early last Sunday with about 300 people packed inside the Glitz Ultra Lounge in Orlando's tourist district. A police report says a fight broke out between two groups of men inside the club. Several of the men pulled out guns and began firing.

The police report says Brull-Lopez was seen running out of the nightclub with a gun in his hand. A witness says he threw a gun on the club's roof.
