Dancer Arrested After Using Kids to Help Steal Lingerie for Job: Cops

Ashley Fleischmann bonded out of jail on Sunday

A dancer at an Orlando gentlemen's club faces charges after she was accused of stealing lingerie for her job with her children in tow, authorities said.

Ashley Fleischmann was arrested on Saturday after she was found with $84.91worth of items, including lingerie-style lace underwear, at a Burlington Coat Factory, the arrest report said. She faces charges including petit theft and child cruelty. She was released on $2,200 bond on Sunday, a jail official said.

According to the report, Fleischmann said "she had planned to make a quick exit from the front of the store with the unpaid items and that she had hoped the presence of her children" would stop her from being arrested.

The two crying children were put into the custody of the Department of Children and Families as no other  legal guardian was found, the report said.

Fleischmann also stated that the items were for her to wear at her job at Crystal Cabaret Gentlemen's Club, the report said.

The whole event traumatized her children, who struggled to stop crying during the hour-long process, the arrest report said.

Fleischmann told the deputy that she was a transient and couldn't give a home address, and that she had just gotten the "care and custody of her minor children one week prior and that she couldn't believe this was happening again," the report said.

It wasn't immediately known if she had an attorney.
