    Two people were critically injured after a police pursuit of a motorcycle ended in a crash in Deerfield Beach.

    Two people were critically injured after a police pursuit of a motorcycle ended in a crash in Deerfield Beach.

    The incident began when a man and woman on the motorcycle were spotted trespassing and acting suspicious in a gated community, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

    Authorities began a pursuit of the couple, who fled on the motorcycle. The pursuit ended in a crash at the intersection of 4800 North Powerline Road, authorities said.

    The man and woman, whose identities haven't been released, were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, officials said.

    The incident is still under investigation.
