2 Men Arrested for Fatal Nightclub Shooting in Broward County: BSO

The Broward Sheriff's Office has arrested two men allegedly involved in the death of a Pompano Beach man outside BAM Nightclub near Fort Lauderdale.

27-year-old Awince Lasseur was located in Plantation and arrested without incident on Nov. 28. 32-year-old Peudritto Joseph was located and arrested in Jacksonville the next day.

Both men face a charge of attempted second degree murder for their role in the events that led to the death of 27-year-old Joshua Rogers, according to BSO.

On Nov. 25, a deputy patrolling near Fort Lauderdale heard gunshots around 4:20 a.m. and quickly responded to the scene.

As the deputy arrived, club goers were scattering, and Rogers was laying in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The nightclub is located at 2829 West Broward Boulevard.
