2 Teens Injured in Dirt Bike Crash in Miramar

The injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

Two teenagers were injured after a car hit the dirt bike they were riding Wednesday in Miramar.

The 13 and 16-year-old boys were traveling southbound on Southwest 66th Terrace and turned left onto Southwest 28th Street when they collided with a white Nissan Altima that was traveling westbound on Southwest 28th Street, according to Miramar Police.

The unidentified female driver stayed on scene and the teens were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The details of the accident are still under investigation.

Police said the dirt bike was a Christmas gift.
