The United States Coast Guard returned 21 migrants to Cuba earlier this week, according to a news release.
In two separate cases, vessels carrying a combined 14 Cuban migrants were found in Marathon, Fla., on Monday, the USCIS said.
Seven more migrants were spotted Tuesday near Islamorada, Fla., in a rustic vessel trying to enter the United States, officials said.
All of the migrants were transferred to the Coast Guard’s 87-foot Cutter Alligator vessel. They received food, water and basic medical needs. They were later returned to Bahia de Cabañas, Cuba.
