Three people suffered minor injuries after the sightseeing helicopter they were on crashed into the waters off Key West.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the incident took place Monday evening about 100 yards south of Key West International Airport, with members of the city’s police department along with several other agencies helping to rescue those onboard.
All three people were taken to Lower Keys Medical Center, but are expected to be okay.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the incident.
