Miami Worldcenter Hosting First Construction Job Fair in Overtown

With development underway for the mixed-use Miami Worldcenter project, organizers are hosting their first job fair in Overtown on Tuesday seeking thousands of local applicants to fill an estimated 18,000 new construction jobs.

Set to occupy 27 acres in the heart of downtown Miami, the 10-block Miami Worldcenter project will bring world-class retail, hospitality, and residential uses to the heart of downtown Miami. Phase one of the project is expected to yield approximately 18, 000 direct jobs and it projected to pump $1 billion into the local economy.

The job fair will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Agnes Episcopal Church located at 1750 Northwest Third Avenue in Miami.
