A toddler whose feet had to be amputated after her father accidentally backed over her with a riding lawn mower has been cleared to leave the hospital.
Tampa General Hospital spokesman John Dunn tells The Tampa Tribune 2-year-old Ireland Nugent is ready to go home after seven surgeries.
Ireland's father says her daughter could be fitted for prosthetic feet in about four weeks.

Jerry Nugent told News Channel 8 that when Ireland asks about her limbs the family tells her she's going to have new feet, just like Winter the dolphin. The dolphin with a prosthetic tail was the star of a 2011 feature film and is housed at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
