No. 1 – Weather wise, South Florida will be slightly warmer and more humid on Tuesday, but two fronts could bring nicer weather - and some rain - by the end of the week. Keep your NBC 6 app handy for First Alert Doppler 6000 and push alerts for any severe weather.
No. 2 - Police are investigating an early morning shooting outside a pizza restaurant in North Miami that left one person shot in the leg.
Officers arrived at the scene outside of Steve’s Pizza at 12101 Biscayne Boulevard, where witnesses say they saw both a male and female shooting at a car in the parking lot before fleeing the scene.
No. 3 - A Fort Lauderdale man is facing animal cruelty charges after allegedly ordering his dog to attack officers during a confrontation with police Sunday night.
According to a police report, 37-year-old Stefan Pastor also faces charges of falsely reporting a threat after originally calling authorities to report a mass shooting. Police say they discovered the call originated from a sandwich shop called Laspadas. They say when they arrived to the business, the store's clerk advised there was no shooting, and that Pastor refused to leave the shop.

No. 4 - Drivers, take note. Starting Tuesday, there will be temporary changes on Interstate 395 and Interstate 95 in Miami.
On Tuesday morning, the eastbound I-395 lanes originating from State Road 836 will be shifted slightly to the right from I-95 to North Miami Avenue. Florida Department of Transportation officials say drivers will continue to use Exit 2A to access Biscayne Boulevard.
No. 5 - Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was admitted to a hospital on Monday evening for a surgery to relieve pressure on his brain, caused by bleeding due to his recent falls, his spokeswoman said.
The procedure is scheduled for Tuesday morning at Emory University Hospital, Deanna Congileo said in a statement. Carter has fallen at least three times this year, and the first incident in the spring required hip replacement surgery.
No. 6 - South Florida's beaches are having a bad year, being closed more often and for longer periods of time due to the presence of bacteria that is associated with sewage.
