No. 1 - Police are looking for answers in what family members say was a "senseless murder" of a longtime librarian who was found fatally shot inside his car at a traffic light Monday night in Miami Gardens.
Jaime Humet, 47, was found unresponsive before 9 p.m. in the 20700 block of NW 2nd Street and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No. 2 - Family members are searching for answers after they say a Fort Lauderdale woman's date with a mystery man she met online ended with her falling off the back of a motorcycle and getting fatally run over on Interstate 95.
Jennifer St. Clair, 33, was killed in the southbound lanes of I-95 just north of Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach around 2 a.m. Friday, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. The report said she was laying in the center lane when she was struck by multiple vehicles

No. 3 – Police in France are searching for a suspected extremist who opened fire on a famous Christmas market in a shooting that killed two people, left one person brain dead and injured at least 12 others.
Police union officials identified the suspected assailant as Cherif Chekatt, a 29-year-old with a thick police record for crimes including armed robbery had been radicalized in prison according to officials.

No. 5 – State officials say four children in Sarasota County who were diagnosed with measles were never vaccinated. Measles is a highly contagious respiratory disease caused by a virus. It is easily spread by air droplets when infected people breathe, cough, or sneeze.
No. 6 – Nearly three dozen sea turtles rescued off New England's coast have arrived in the Florida Keys to warm up at the Turtle Hospital.
Hospital officials say several of the turtles suffer from compromised immune systems and pneumonia as a result of "cold stunning," a hypothermic reaction that occurs when turtles are exposed to cold water for prolonged periods.
