"Why am I here right now?" asked Andrew Brown, who was stuck at Miami International Airport, but supposed to get married in Jamaica Friday afternoon. "We have looked forward to this wedding for the last two years, so i was like ugh, this could not be true," his mother Paulette Brown said. Alessandro Pasiandoto and his family were also stranded at MIA because of Hurricane Sandy.

"Airport 24/7: Miami" is the Travel Channel's new show. Executive producer and creator Chris Sloan and MIA employees Dickie Davis and Darius Bradshaw told NBC 6 South Florida about the show.

A 737 plane with six people on board landed at Miami International Airport after having a tire issue Thursday, an airport spokesman said.

The plane took off from Orlando and was headed to Fort Lauderdale. But after the issue arose the plane landed at MIA because it has a hangar there, spokesman Marc Henderson said.
