90-Year-Old Fan Challenges Heat's Wade to One-On-One

For her 90th birthday, Miami Heat fan Illuminada Magtoto only had one wish: to play one-on-one with Dwyane Wade.

Magtoto challenged Wade in a YouTube video, saying, "Dwyane Wade, on my 90th birthday, I want to play one-on-one with you, okay?"

The Heat star accepted her challenge, and the unlikely duo took to the court at the team's practice facility on Tuesday.

"Happy birthday!" Wade greeted Magtoto. "Thank you so much for being a fan of mine and the Heat."

As the two took turns shooting, Magtoto lobbed the ball high, and Wade dunked it in.

"You throw lobs better than Mario Chalmers," he said to Magtoto's delight.

Seeing how happy the experience made her, Wade appeared to tear up in an interview with the team's Heat TV.

"This is real, and this is what it's about," Wade said as he dabbed at his eyes. "This gives me life. It gives me purpose."

Magtoto expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to meet her favorite player.

"Now I feel like I'm very, very happy, and I'm very grateful," she said. "This is my dream come true."

Wade later posted about Magtoto's visit on Instagram, saying, "I had the chance to meet this lovely lady. You never know the impact you have on people and meeting her made me realize yet again that my life is bigger than basketball. She presented a challenge to play me one on one for her 90th bday. Thanks to her family, the Miami Heat and TeamWade for making this wish come true. #biggerpurpose #hertearsalmostmademetear #happybday"
