911 Call Released in Shooting of 3-Year-Old Girl in Miramar

Miramar Police have released the 911 call made by the mother of a 3-year-old girl who was shot inside her home.

"She shot herself, please, please hurry up," the woman is heard telling the 911 operator in the call, released Monday. "She shot herself in the stomach."

Police said the girl was shot Wednesday night inside the home on the 4300 block of Southwest 132nd Way.

"Please hurry, she's fainting," the mother tells the operator, before pleading with the child. "Stay, stay with me baby, breathe, breathe, breathe baby."

The girl was taken to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, where she remained Monday. Her condition is unknown.

No one has been charged in the shooting, which remains under investigation.
