To help keep you and other motorists safe as you celebrate New Year's Eve, AAA is once again offering free towing services through their Safe Ride Program on New Year's Eve.
While AAA encourages party-goers to choose a designated driver before heading out, the service will be available as a last-resort in order to get motorists home safely.
You don't need to be a AAA member, but the service is based upon the availability of truck drivers.
Your tow destination must also be within a 10-mile radius of where you are picked up. Tow trucks can take up to two people home at a time. If there are more people in your party, you're encouraged to make further arrangements in order to get everyone home safely.
The Tow to Go program, a partnership between AAA and Bud Light, has provided more than 20,000 rides for impaired drivers during the holidays since its inception in 1998.
