Adoptable Dogs: Champ

Champ is available at Broward County Animal Care, 1870 SW 39th Street, Fort Lauderdale.

Animal ID Number: A1651378
Name: Champ
Age: 1 year, 2 months old
Breed: American Bulldog
Sex: Neutered Male
Health: Full Medical Exam, Champ is Deaf
Temperament: Good with People and Dogs
Weight: 57 pounds
Personality: This big boy originally arrived at Animal Care as a stray on April 4, 2014. He had actually wandered into a Publix store, he was so anxious for people and attention! Champ was adopted a month later, but his adopter soon returned him when he realized that Champ was probably deaf. Champ is an amazing dog who gets along well with others, but he would benefit most from a home that understands his special needs and can work with him. He’s been lost and confused too many times, and needs an experienced home that can help him adjust to the world outside or that is patient enough to learn along with him. Champ should never feel alone or confused again and we hope he finally gets the special home he deserves! Champs’s adoption fee is sponsored!

Champ is available at Broward County Animal Care, 1870 SW 39th Street, Fort Lauderdale. The Adoption Center is open from 1 to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Also, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
