Personality: What is it with big, gorgeous dogs this week?! Howie is pure tall, dark, and handsome, a gorgeous black color with hints of brindle giving his coat a distinctive sheen--almost sun-kissed you might say. When he was rescued from a foreclosed home in late May, we knew we had somebody special. Now if only someone will give this quiet Lab-mix fellow a real forever home, we’d be so grateful. We think he deserves it! Howie’s adoption fee is only $10.
Howie is available at Broward County Animal Care, 1870 SW 39th Street, Fort Lauderdale. The Adoption Center is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Also, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
