Adorable Babies Born at Zoo Miami

    Zoo Miami is welcoming some new friends into their home!

    Over the past week, various animals were born, including a female black rhinoceros, a male white-faced saki monkey and a male Somali wild ass.

    The black rhinoceros was born on Sunday, May 25, weighing 122 pounds. She is expected to be on exhibit by next week.

    On Friday, May 30, the male white-faced saki monkey was born. Unfortunately, his mother rejected the offspring so he will be off exhibit for a few weeks while he is raised by Zoo Miami officials.

    An endangered male Somali wild ass was born on Monday and is expected to be on exhibit by the end of the week.
