Couple Posed as Adele's Manager for Rolling Loud Music Fest Tickets: Cops

A man with a history of posing as celebrity representatives is facing charges after posing as Adele's manager to get tickets for last weekend's Rolling Loud music festival in Miami, police said.

Justin Jackson, 30, along with his wife Angel Lii, 25, were arrested at the festival at Bayfront Park early Sunday, according to an arrest report.

Jackson, arrested under the name Jayce Lii, is charged with grand theft, fraudulent use of identification and tampering with physical evidence. Lii is charged with grand theft, fraudulent use of identification and unlawful use of a communications device.

According to the arrest report and the Miami Herald, Jackson and Lii posed as Jonathan Dickins, Adele's manager, and sent an email to Kendrick Lamar's manager requesting tickets to the festival for Rolling Loud, which the rapper was headlining.

Lamar's manager believed the request was fake and reached out to the real Dickins, who contacted police, according to the report. The email address used was connected to Jackson and had been used to make false claims in the past, the report said.

Police arranged for Jackson, Lii and a third person to pick up their passes at the festival, according to the arrest report. When they showed up at the venue for their passes, Jackson and Lii were taken into custody. The third person was not arrested. As Jackson was being taken into custody, he destroyed his cellphone.

NBC has reached out to Jackson and Lii’s attorney for comment.

Jackson served two years in a Florida prison after he convinced a jeweler to loan out $2.4 million in jewelry in 2007 by posing as a rep for Madonna, the Miami Herald reported.

He has also posed as Oprah's nephew, former basketball player Reggie Love, a former aide to President Obama and a cable television executive, according to court documents obtained by the Miami Herald.
