Police: Missing Girl from Hallandale Beach Found

    (Published Saturday, July 15, 2017)

An Amber Alert has been cancelled for Brianna Brown, according to police.

According to police, Brown was at a church with her grandmother, who has legal custody of her, at 816 NW 1st Avenue in Hallandale Beach.

Police said Brianna’s biological mother, Daurianne, arrived at the church and started to talk to Brianna. Several minutes later, they left the church and left in a White Toyota Camry.

Brianna’s grandmother believes Daurianne is upset because she lost custody of Brianna to her.

Officials said Daurianne has had issues with substance abuse.

Police said on Twitter Saturday night that the girl had been found, and will be returned to her grandmother.
