A man upset with clerks at a 7-Eleven in Miramar pulled out an ax inside the store, authorities said.
Police released video Thursday showing the incident at the 7-Eleven on Pembroke Road.
The man was angry after the store clerks refused to sell him cigarettes because he didn’t have ID. Footage showed the man walking out, but then returning with the weapon in hand.
He demanded the clerks to sell him the cigarettes before his friend came in to get him, police said. The ax-wielding man and his friend left in a truck with a trailer containing tree trimmings attached to it.
No one was injured.
