Miami-Dade Police are investigating two separate armed robberies in West Kendall.

A Shell gas station located at 14699 S.W. 56th Street was robbed on Thursday after a man jumped over the food counter and struggled with the sales clerk over the cash tray and then ran away on foot, police said.

A second robbery occurred the next day at a nearby liquor store at 16281 S.W 88th Street, police said.

Surveillance video shows a man entering the liquor store and pointing a gun at the sales clerk and demanding money.

Police said the subject said in Spanish "Give me the money or I'll shoot you in the head." The subject got away with $159 and was last seen entering a light silver, mid- to late 90’s Nissan or Toyota.

Police urge anyone with information or if you recognize this man, to call Crime Stoppers at (305) 471- TIPS (8477).
