Police are searching for two suspects who they say pulled a late night armed robbery on a Starbucks on the campus of the University of Miami in Coral Gables.

The robbery happened around 11:15 Thursday night at the Starbucks next to the UM student library, as the shop was about to close.

Police said two black males, both wearing masks and one of them armed, barged into the nearly empty coffee shop and demanded cash.

The pair fled on foot, and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A message was sent to students to stay indoors as police searched for the suspects.

Police ask anyone with information to call Coral Gables police at 305-442-1600 or Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
