Police have arrested a 23-year-old Hollywood man accused in a fatal stabbing during Key West's biggest annual festival.
Nicholas Ferro was jailed Sunday on second-degree murder charges. Officials say it's the first homicide in the 30-year history of Fantasy Fest -- a bawdy costume party that annually draws more than 30,000.
The killing happened early Saturday after some locals got into a fight with men from out-of-town. The victim was 23-year-old Marques Butler, a former track and basketball star at Key West High.
He was rushed to a hospital and underwent surgery, but died shortly afterward.
