Coral Gables Police said they've made an arrest in last month's strong arm robbery at the University of Miami Metrorail station.

Desmond Marcellas Jackson, 24, was arrested Wednesday in the Jan. 14 robbery at the station at 5400 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, police said Wednesday.

Police said Jackson stole the victim's iPhone and Kindle before fleeing.

Thanks to an anonymous tip, the victim was able identify Jackson through a photo line-up, police said.

Jackson was booked into the Miami-Dade jail on one robbery charge and was being held on $7,500 bond Wednesday. It was unknown whether he has an attorney.
