Attorney: Second Suspect Not Guilty in Bad Injections Case

Corey Alexander Eubank, who was arrested in bad buttock injection case, is not guilty, said her attorney

A transgender woman was not involved in carrying out an alleged buttock enhancing procedure where a victim was injected with a mixture of cement, mineral oil, and "Fix-a-Flat," her attorney said Tuesday.

Corey Alexander Eubank, 40, is pleading not guilty and made no money off of anything, her attorney Jim Lewis told NBC Miami. Police said Eubank is a man, but Lewis says she presents herself as a woman.

Lewis said Eubank had the buttocks injections herself and referred others, but the injections consisted of mineral oil and had no adverse affects on her.

Lewis added that she did allow her home to be used once for someone else to get the treatment, but wasn't involved in it.

Eubank was arrested last week along with Oneal Morris, 30, after a woman came forward claiming Morris injected her legs and buttocks with the substance, and she has been ill ever since. Police said Eubank helped Morris carry out the procedure on the woman.

They face charges including unlicensed practice of a health care profession with serious injury, police said.

Morris had been arrested previously after a woman went to authorities alleging a similar story.

Morris's attorney has said the allegations against his client are false.

"We are going to be fighting the charges that she did anything other than introduce somebody to somebody for a cosmetic procedure that she had done to her," Lewis said of Eubank. "She's not practicing medicine in any way, shape or form."

Lewis also said he hadn't read any documents to show where authorities were getting the information that the woman was injected with the flat tire sealant.

"I haven’t seen any medical records. I find it hard to believe that mineral oil can cause any adverse effects," he said.

Both Eubank and Morris have been released from jail on bond.
