Authorities Find Stolen Boat Worth $180K Being Pulled Along I-95

Authorities found the stolen truck and vessel near 81st Street in Miami on April 25.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent spotted a stolen boat worth $180,000 being pulled on Interstate 95 and coordinated with Florida Highway Patrol to stop the driver, authorities said Tuesday.

The boat, the Ford F250 truck pulling the boat and the trailer were all stolen and had a total value of nearly $200,000, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection of Air and Marine said.

The truck and vessel were stopped near 81st Street in Miami on April 25.

The driver, who was not identified, was placed under arrest for felony possession of stolen property, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection of Air and Marine said.
