One person dead, another rushed to hospital, authorities investigating. NBC6's Keith Jones reports.
The Broward Sheriff's Office was investigating a murder and attempted suicide in Dania Beach, where a woman was killed and a man was left in critical condition.
Authorities said a man killed his estranged wife before shooting himself. The couple were in the process of separating and the wife had moved out of the house. She returned Tuesday.

That's when the husband shot her round 12:15 p.m. at a home in the 200 block of Northeast 2nd Place, the BSO said.
When deputies arrived they found the woman dead inside the house. The woman's adult son was sleeping in a bedroom.

"BSO was notified of a possible shooting at this address in Dania Beach," said sheriff's office spokeswoman Dani Moschella.
Responding deputies found one person dead at the scene. A second person was taken by Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue to Memorial Regional Hospital.
