Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue was responding Tuesday to a report of a car that crashed into an apartment building at Century Village in Deerfield Beach, authorities said.

Initial reports indicate the driver may be trapped inside the vehicle, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said in a statement.

Deerfield Beach units and the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Technical Rescue Team were en route to the scene, Jachles said.
