BSO Deputy Busted For Propositioning Undercover Officer

Off-duty Broward Sheriff's Office deputy Christian Benenati, 40, was arrested for soliciting another person for lewdness after he propositioned an undercover colleague for sex during a prostitution sting, the BSO said. BSO spokesman Jim Leljedal addresses the case.

The Broward Sheriff s Office is saying goodbye to one of its longtime veterans -- a 2O-year-old horse named Greystoke. Michael Catalano of the BSO said the horse was a good partner.

An officer with the Broward Sheriff's Office was involved in a car accident and reportedly crashed into a light pole, early Saturday morning, deputies said.

The crash with injuries happened on 3100 West Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach at 8:30 a.m.
