BSO Looking for Peeping Tom in Parkland

Authorities are searching for a peeping tom who has been targeting residents in Parkland in the past few weeks

Authorities are searching for a peeping tom who has been targeting residents in Parkland in the past few weeks.

The peeping tom has been spotted at the Grand Cypress Estates and The Landings and was caught on surveillance video in at least two instances, the Broward Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

The first incident was reported the night of March 24, when a woman was shocked to find the silhouette of a man peeking into her bathroom window as she showered. She tried to confront the man but he had fled, and a neighbor saw the man running from the home.

Security cameras captured the man walking around her property for more than 45 minutes.

A week later, on April 1, a woman reported that she had heard noises as she slept and woke to find a man standing outside her bedroom's sliding doors, the BSO reported. She banged on the door, startling the man, who fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his late teens or 20s, about 5-foot-10 with a thin athletic build.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
