BSO Arrests 25 in Underage Sex Sting

South Florida law enforcement officials have arrested 25 people accused of attempting to arrange sex with underage teens after a sting operation that included undercover cops posing as young boys online.

Public Information Officer Dani Moschella said the arrests were part of a two-day operation done by the Broward Sheriff's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

"The men believe they are communicating with a 14 or 15 year old," she said. "They talk to them online. They go to a location with the expectation there will be sex."

At least two men arrested as part of the sting appeared in court Friday. Both were ordered not to use the Internet while out on bond.

Both men were represented by public defenders in bond court Friday.  Attempts to contact them at home were unsuccessful.
