    A baby was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center after the child fell through a dock when it partially collapsed in Deerfield Beach Tuesday, authorities said. NBC 6's Justin Finch reports.

    A baby was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center after the child fell through a dock when it partially collapsed in Deerfield Beach Tuesday, authorities said.

    The mother was holding her 6-week-old son when some of the dock's planks gave away and he fell in the water, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue said.

    The 41-year-old mother was able to get him out of the water. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the scene on the 1700 block of Southeast 5th Court, and a helicopter flew the baby to the hospital

    His condition was not serious, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue said.
