A 9-month-old boy was listed in critical condition Thursday after nearly drowning in a Miramar pool, police say.
The child was taken to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, said Tania Rues, spokeswoman for the Miramar Police Department.

About 8:15 a.m., a relative of the baby found him in a pool in the 7700 block of Panama Street and phoned 911, police said.
