A 9-month-old child fell from a woman’s arms after the two pedestrians were “bumped” by a slow-moving vehicle in the parking lot of Deerfield Park Elementary Monday, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

The slow-speed crash occurred at 650 SW 3rd Ave. around 3 p.m.

Deputies said a vehicle “bumped” the walking woman, who then dropped the infant. The 9-month-old then then fell from the car’s windshield to the ground, according to BSO.

The child had no visible injuries but was transported by air to Broward General Medical Center as a precaution. The woman was not injured.
