What takes Anthony Genovese out of the Father of the Year running? Was it the stripper pole in his living room? How about the marijuana cops found in an ashtray? Then there's the liquor bottles found in his teen daughter's room.
At the very least, Genovese is one bad dad, if you believe the police report.
The 41-year-old was arrested Friday at his house of iniquity in Lantana on child neglect charges, according to the Palm Beach Post.
A Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy found the items during a quick search of the 1,200-square-foot home, which included the bottle of rum, vodka and champagne in the 17-year-old's room.
Deputies questioned the 17-year-old, who told cops her sister had a party and her friends provided the booze. The party "got out of hand when the girls started taking off their clothing," she reportedly told the deputy.
Genovese's other daughter said her father let her smoke marijuana in the home because there were "worse things she could be doing," according to the police report.
After his release Saturday, Genovese said he's actually a model dad.
"I can fill the courtroom twice with people who can say how great a dad I am," he said.
