A drive-thru window became a window of opportunity for a trio of bold robbers at a Southwest Miami-Dade fast food restaurant.
At least two robbers, assisted by a getaway driver, stormed the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Southwest 24th St. & 87th Ave. just before midnight Monday.
Police say the armed masked men jumped through the drive-through window and headed straight to the safe and were in and out before police could make it to the scene.
A female getaway driver was believed to be standing by outside before they all took off in a dark colored SUV.
It's unknown how much cash the gang made off with.
Police are looking for the suspects and anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
