Big Fourth Quarter Leads Miami Past Dallas

The Miami Dolphins scored a pair of touchdowns in the last six minutes of Saturday's game to come away with a 25-20 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Trailing 20-11 with 5:46 to go in the game, Matt Moore connected on a 27-yard pass to Gator Haskins for a touchdown. Orleans Darkwa would follow by taking in a two-point conversion attempt to make it a one-point game.

About four minutes later, it'd be Darkwa again who ran into the end zone for a 1-yard rushing touchdown that put Miami up five. The two-point conversion attempt would fail but the score ended up being enough for the Dolphins.

Moore ended up 12 of 19 on his pass attempts for 172 yards. The quarterback was picked off once in addition to the aforementioned touchdown pass. Moore had a 88.0 passer rating in the game.

Of note was the fact, that Brady Quinn saw zero snaps. It was unlikely that Quinn would make the team as a backup and that becomes even more evident after this contest. The former first round pick remains likely to be cut.

Before Moore took over, Ryan Tannehill played the entire first half as well as the start of the second half. It was a tough day for the starting QB as he was only 13 of 21 on his attempts for 119 yards and was also the victim of an interception.

A week after accumulating a paltry rushing total, Miami looked a lot better with its ground attack on Saturday. The offense combined for 200 rushing yards with 70 yards coming from Darkwa and an additional 64 yards from Knowshon Moreno.
