Authorities in Hialeah are investigating after a body was found floating in a canal Wednesday.
The body was discovered in the canal in the area of W. 4th Avenue and 49th Street, Hialeah Fire Rescue officials said.
Police officials said the body was taken to the medical examiner's office to identify the person and their cause of death.
No other information was immediately known.
