Officers in Davie were called out to a canal where a body was found early Tuesday morning.
Capt. Dale Engle of the Davie Police Department confirmed a woman's body was found face down near Southwest 47th Terrace and Griffin Road, near the Moonlight Ranch Mobile Home Park.
No other information was immediately known.
